Prompt text:
I need to intelligently plot out the internal communications for this campaign so that it is clear to all stakeholders what will be communicated, when, how, by whom and to whom. Acting as an experienced internal communications consultant, please create a table setting out a schedule of communications. The schedule should indicate which messages will go to which audiences, when, and via which channel. The schedule should cover a [length] period beginning on [date], with the [initiative] launching on [date]. Take care to avoid weekends and public holidays, and take into account quieter periods such as summer, school holidays and the festive period in December and New Year. I would like you to organise the communications over three phases: 1. Pre-launch – ensuring leadership teams and other relevant stakeholders are aware of, understand and support the initiative; 2. Launch – ensuring employees are engaged, understand how the initiative will affect them, and take actions to support it; and 3. Post-launch - driving commitment by reinforcing key messages, raising awareness of supporting resources, sharing stories and successes, and driving follow-up actions. Please present the schedule as a table with the following columns: date, messenger, audience, channel, content, and responsible. You can leave the messenger and responsible fields blank. Make it a story

Uses established storytelling principles to give any piece of content a compelling story structure.

Prompt text:
I would like to use storytelling principles to bring an initiative to life for [organisation]. Please act as a master storyteller with deep experience in internal communications. I would like you to take the details of the initiative below, and help me to transform it into a compelling narrative that follows established storytelling principles. I would like you to begin by summarising the "spine" of the story, using the following format: "Once upon a time there was... Every day... One day... Because of that... Because of that... Until finally...". Then, outline the story as bullet points, broken down into the following stages and keeping the language and concepts as simple as possible: 1. The Setup Begin by setting the stage with a universal theme (e.g., challenge, opportunity, growth) that will resonate emotionally with employees at all levels. Think about the core emotions that this story should evoke (e.g., hope, excitement, challenge). Then, present the initial situation in a way that feels relatable and human. Why is this initiative needed, and how does it connect to the broader human experience within the company? 2. The Conflict Introduce a sudden element of tension or conflict: a problem, challenge, pain point or threat that needs solving. If appropriate, ensure there is a sense of urgency. The Conflict must be compelling but believable: don't exaggerate it. Position the organisation as an underdog hero, outside of their comfort zone. Use emotionally charged language to ensure the audience empathises with, and is inclined to support, the effort to overcome the Conflict. 3. The Journey Outline the steps or actions the company is taking, and emphasise the importance of trying, not just success. This should feel like a journey or adventure: a process that employees will be excited about. Ensure the employee's own role is a key element of the story, where necessary referring to the other characters (e.g., leaders, team members) who are making the initiative happen. Based on your understanding of the initiative, please suggest multiple twists in the Journey, such as an element that will challenge perceptions or provide unexpected opportunities, further raising the stakes. 4. The Resolution Outline a (potential or actual) scenario in which the Conflict is resolved, leading to a positive outcome. Position this as a reward for the employees' efforts and investment. Focus on personal and collective growth, tapping into emotions like satisfaction, pride, fulfilment and excitement. Highlight the long-term benefits for the organisation and its employees, showing how their involvement will shape the future. 5. The Closing End on a high note that reinforces the core message and theme. This should act as a call to action that inspires employees to deepen their commitment to the initiative, and/or related ones. The tone for the Closing should be motivational and relatable on a human level. Reinforce the idea of a shared journey toward success, and a broad positive impact.
